CD STATION is another revolutionary idea conceived of by MacTec products. It's a CD storage unit designed like a CD changer cartridge, with trays that slide in grooves inside the unit, for holding CDs without their case. The trays have tabs designed for easy labeling (with standard circular labels from Avery) and quick access (trays slide out far enough for extraction by thumb and forefinger.) The space-efficient design allows for the storage of EIGHT discs. What really is exciting about the CD Station, however, is the fact that it doubles as a desktop storage unit and an in-computer storage unit (i.e. fits into any standard 5 1/4" bay). That's right, install it like a disk or cd-rom drive, and store your eight most frequently used CDs or CD-ROMs in the most convenient spot possible - right next to your drive! CD Station is also an optimum design for a desktop storage unit. Its footprint is no larger than a CD and they interlock for stacking as high as you want to go. Again, the sliding trays provide for quick access and alleviate the clutter and hassle of dealing with CD jewel cases. Its sleek, detailed exterior compliments any desk decor.
